De-Addiction Centre (Awakening Home)
MRIS describes its current social-service work as including a 15-bed Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA), developed from an earlier counselling-centre initiative associated with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
The service model includes community awareness, screening, counselling, referral for rehabilitation where required and follow-up support aimed at helping former clients return to mainstream family and community life.
